Swimming pool
The swimming pool is heated. Normally (depending a little bit on the weather) you can swim from April to October. The sunbeds, four-poster beds and umbrellas are free to use. Some inflatable toys are present. Diving and jumping in the pool is not allowed. After all, it is not pleasant for the people around the pool when they constantly are getting showers while relaxing.
We ask not to monopolize sun beds from the morning by laying towels. There are enough sun beds for everybody. Our swimming pool has no “opening hours”. Many people like to start their days early in the morning or finish them late at night by swimming a couple laps in the pool. And there is nothing against it, as long as it stays calm.
Under the pool house there is a plancha (griddle) to use and also a microwave.
Parking
There is parking within our domain, so your car will be safe. You will receive a remote control for the gate during your stay.
Furthermore:
- Wifi is available.
- Bed and bath linen are provided and are changed once a week. Obtaining fresh towels or bedsheets in between is no problem, for a small additional cost.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Final cleaning: you get the studio / apartment in perfect condition. Either you leave it as you get it (we give a vacuum cleaner, cleaning products, cloths, etc., and you clean thoroughly) or we do the final cleaning for you at an additional 70/75/90 euros extra.
- In the village, less than a kilometre from Aux Merveilleux, there are several cosy restaurants.
- We have a child's chair and pillow that you can use, as well as a bottle warmer.
- You can bring your own baby cot, or we can add one for you (+ 25 euro).
- In every unit, there is a folder with practical information: where is the bakery / grocery store / butcher, good restaurants, villages worth visiting, the nearest beaches, nature walks, etc.
